Youth Ministry
Erik Hatch served for 8 years on staff as the director of youth ministries with First Lutheran Church (Fargo, ND). Additionally, Erik volunteered his time with that same youth group during his entire college career at North Dakota State University.
Currently, Erik serves as the Interim Campus Minister at the University Lutheran Center at NDSU. He has been with the ULC since April of 2011.
With over 12 years of experience, it appears as though youth ministry isn’t just something that Erik has done – it’s who he is. His passion for youth and his desire to help them through some of the most transitional of years is evident. Erik feels called to share the grace and relentless love of Jesus Christ wherever and whenever he can.
From counseling to event planning…from trip leading to bible studies…from speaking to listening…and from crazy games to leading worship…youth ministry has a world of varied demands. Erik’s creativity and passions have been used by God for His glory!
